Our Tenth Anniversary

For our tenth anniversary My hubby and I went to Europe. We went to London to stay with Grandma, and to Paris. Fun trip!!! can't wait to go again. If all this bores you then up yours and you can check back in a couple weeks as I log our trip :)

The second day in England my dear Uncle Andy drove us out to Lincoln. I met my 2 cousins for the first time, Scott and Rick and we went to the Lincoln Cathedral.

This Cathedral was completed in 1092! It is fricken huge! For several hundred years it was the tallest building in the world! Old history! Speaking of old history, my dear husband told my Grandma she was older than ANYTHING in America! (well she is 89...i think) Grandma thought it was really funny, but when she told people, they gave Dal a mean look.

Me and Dal...ahhhh...

The castle has some super gorgeous stained glass windows...

Here is Grandma is Ricks funny hat.

We had to climb hundreds of these tiny stairs to the top of the cathedral. It was narrow and painful, but pretty awesome! Dallan couldn't even stand through alot of it.
This is the view of Lincoln from the top. Look at all the cute houses!

And Jane Austin movies are for real! The country out here is gorgeous and just as it looks in those charming british films. So cute!!! I want to move here one day.

Great photos Heather. The European cathedrals are just beautiful and Lincoln is a very interesting place. Lucky you having time to climb up to see the view of the town, that is something we have never done. Must do that next time we are there.

Wow! 10 Years! Congrats! Europe must have been so great! We just had our 12th. All we did was go to Motel 6. I think I got jipped.
