Poor Weston has some really high jaundice numbers. He was at an 18.8, they hospitalize if babies are at 20. He has been in this little suitcase for almost a week. He is at home, but we are supposed to keep him under the lights as much as we can. His number has dropped to a 12.8, and I guess 8 is normal. We have to go to the lab at the hospital almost everyday which is a little bit of a pain in the butt, but hopefully not much longer.
Oh and the purple lips are because of thrush...that funny violet medicine. Works wonders! And the eyes have to be covered up while he is in there because of the bright lights. He could go blind! I was so paranoid about his eyes, that one afternoon I needed a little nap so bad. He was in the lights, and I put my hand on his chest so I could feel if he stirred at all and would wake up. Something startled me awake, and I guess I was in a pretty deep sleep. I looked at Weston and in my head, his crusty black umbilical cord was his eyeball, and there was two of them. It was horrifying, because I was awake! I thought I had burned his eyes out! But my brain registered after about 3 seconds, and he hadn't moved an inch during our nap.

Poor Westin! you need to quit feeding him grape popsicles, too. So glad he is getting better!
Oh my gosh, look at those chunky cheeks!!! How precious, he does look like he's been beat up pretty bad. How embarrassing, mom didn't spell his name right...And in those pics I thought he looked like Addie!
I love all the pictures from the last few posts! Congrats on a little boy! He really is a little prince...so cute. I'm prego right now. Having another boy - I'm almost 20 weeks. Crazy! I will do a blog post of my belly...just kidding. You'd have to rip my fingernails off before I'd do one of those. Love ya!
