Our California Vacation...

About a month ago we went to Southern California for our family vacation. It was SO fun! We stayed at Juan and Tracine's house (which is about 2 miles from Mom and Dad's old cali house in Trabuco Canyon) The first day we went to the beach just for a couple hours, then on to disneyland. The girls had SO much fun at the beach I wish we had planned a few full days here. Addie wanted to leave theme parks to go to the beach. We were so full on our schedule that we never got back! PS the kids were great on the drive, including Sophie, who whined a few times, but never really cried! (I think it is totally worth the money to have a DVD player installed in the car for sure) Look how cute these girls are in the dresses I made!

This little girl LOVED the ocean. She was so excited. She wanted to get all wet. Sophie would get a little nervous when the waves came up on the shore fast and loud. But she would be giggling and giggling the whole time. The water was pretty cold and it was only about 70 degrees, which was great for the parks, but a little chilly for the beach.

The ocean may have been Addie's favorite place of all. She LOVED it. I still feel guilty we didn't get back. But we want to get to cali once a year, especially when we have family there to mooch off of. (thanks tra and juan)

This is about as good a pic I got of Kenna and Rylee. They wanted to go deeper and deeper. I planned on these dresses for cute photos at the beach, not swimwear. Oh well...
This was day one. I hope to have day 2 up within the week!

A few Scrappy Pages...

Just thought I would post a few more of these. I get in these scrapbook moods and make like 10 in a week. Then I won't do it at all for months. Anyhow, I LOVE digital scrapbooking, if you haven't converted yet, I highly recommend it. And for those of you that do, Costco is definitely the best price. And you can put three on one 12x36, for $5, which makes them like $1.67 each. The only thing is you can't submit those onilne, and they have to be 200 resolution and under 10 megs or they won't load on their computers. I was concerned about the lower resolution, but I promise you can't tell or I wouldn't print them like that. Hopeyou like! I will post a few more soon!
